Every young person
deserves a chance.

Kasi Youth Stars creates real pathways for township youth through skills training, income generation, and community. Because talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.

Community that said enough

In the township, survival is the only curriculum.

For millions of young South Africans growing up in informal settlements and township communities, the path is narrow. Without skills, without income, without anyone who believes in them, youth face pressure toward crime, substance abuse, and choices that close doors permanently.

The big NGOs are out there. But they're institutional. They operate from offices in Sandton and Rosebank. They write reports about the townships. They don't come from them.

"I started this with a simple but powerful dream: to create opportunities for young people who feel forgotten, unheard."

Three pillars. One mission.

S

Skills Training

Practical, real-world skills that lead to employment and self-sufficiency. Not theory from a textbook, but hands-on training designed for township realities.

I

Income Generation

Our natural skincare products and branded merchandise create real economic activity. Youth learn business, earn income, and build confidence through making and selling.

C

Community

A safe space where young people belong. Mentorship, peer support, and a network that says: you matter, you have potential, and someone is in your corner.

Born in the kasi.
Built for the future.

Kasi Youth Stars exists because the people closest to the problem are the best equipped to solve it. This is not charity. This is a community investing in its own next generation.
